Abstract
Regarding the problems of widespread contamination, flashover occurs in power system insulators. Through a number of tests, the diversity of the flashover voltage (FOV) for contaminated insulators in the different wet precipitation condition is determined, and is analyzed and discussed by the authors. They have their own opinions about wet precipitation
