Abstract
The doubly-fed induction generator, when controlled with stator field orientation with impressed rotor currents, has an unstable region when operating feeding the mains with reactive power. Several techniques can be used for the stabilization of this system. Some methods are based in an inner closed loop for stabilization. This paper presents the analysis of a new method for stabilization of the DFIG. It is based in an inner current loop that, in function of an internal angle, acts on the quadrature impressed rotor current.
