Abstract :
This paper deals with the propagation of the local discharge on liquid under DC high voltage. The tests have been carried out on different resistivity using Obenaus and two grooves model. The electrical parameters of flashover, the critical magnitude of gradient of potential and current in the pollution are compared for both models. The results show almost no difference on their magnitudes. The high gradient is associated with low current and vice versa. The authors comment on these results and suggest an explanation
