            Abstract : 
Designing filters for filter banks is not an easy task. This becomes more complicated and coefficients constraints appear when linear phase filters with desired number of zeros at ω = π are composing the filter banks. The complexity increases more when two two-channel perfect reconstruction filter banks with subfilters satisfying the above mentioned properties and related in a pre-established way must be designed. Dual tree complex wavelet transform (DTCWT) implies such filters. Selesnick´s algorithm (2002) for orthogonal/ biorthogonal filters for DTCWT is based on polynomial factorization. In this paper a new method is proposed, implying an individually treatment of filter banks from DTCWT branches.
