Abstract :
It is well known that space charges in low-density polyethylene (LDPE) consist of two or more kinds of charge carriers in many cases. We simulated the space charge motion due to double injection by computer simulation and discussed the space charge formation and the transient current by changing the rates of injection. The simulated space charge distribution agreed with the observed one after long-time charging. The differences of transient properties between the experimental and simulated results suggested the field dependence of carrier mobilities
