  • Abstract
The large penetration of distributed generation requires accurate over-head line and cable models in a frequency range much wider than the classical interval, 0-2.5 kHz, used for traditional harmonic and interharmonic penetration studies. In this paper, the results obtained in previous papers by the same authors on the behavior of both over-head and cable MV lines in the frequency range from 0 to 100 kHz are reported. Reference is made to models based on the classical Π line equivalent circuits of different complexities. The results of the different models are illustrated in terms of output terminal impedance magnitude; a very simple case study is also presented.
