    This paper describes the remote sensing capabilities of the Russian aircraft and helicopter systems of the State Research Institute of Aviation Systems (GosNIIAS). Television, thermal, and laser scanning instruments are include in this research program. The detector device and navigation data are registered on a Schlumberger digital tape recorder
