Abstract :
This paper analyzes the major electromagnetic disturbance sources and their characteristics in high voltage converter station, and measures the electromagnetic disturbance in Heihe 500kV DC converter station. The measurement results shows that opening and closing process of converter valve will produce a continuous broadband electromagnetic disturbance which is much more serious in the range of MHz and declines with frequency rising. The electromagnetic disturbances above 20MHz are all fixed frequencies. And electromagnetic disturbances of high frequency are mainly for mobile phone communication signals and WIFI signals.
