Abstract :
Copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) tetra sulfonic acid, tetrasodium salt (CuPcSAS) and polyaniline (PA) have been chosen as functional organic materials to adsorb each other spontaneously. The alternate structure consisting of ultrathin films with the two materials promises new properties, because CuPc has been known to a p-type organic semiconductor and PA to a conductive polymer in the doped state by acid. In this paper we describe the fabrication of alternate structures using the self-assembly and spin-coating (SASC) method
