  • Abstract
A fuzzy logic classification technique was developed and applied to a data set of 200 NOAA scenes in APT format for derivation of mean cloud parameters in the region of the Upper Rhine Valley in central Europe. The results were extrapolated to a climatological period of 30 years by integration of surface data
