  • Abstract
    Effective data management of the distribution network becomes important issues faced by the distribution automation with the increase of the power users and the development of distribution network. Data grid allows users to share data resources transparently and provides unified access with data management interface. So it´s suitable for the distribution information management. Globus Toolkit package is applied to build the experimental power grid platform and its security mechanism could grant and manage the users´ right of distribution information uniformly. OGSA-DAI is used to bind different isolated data source and realize of grid access and data integration when the process of data access is encapsulated into grid service. Experimental platform can be very effective in shielding the lower operation of the database and provides users with a simple data management interface.
