  • Abstract
To improve data transmission rate and ensure QoS for power-line communication in Power Distribution Network, this paper proposed a mixed-service resources allocation algorithm based on OFDM system. Firstly mathematical model is built for the mixed-service resources allocation, while the concept of VB (Virtual Bit) is introduced and the priority function is defined. Then the algorithm takes advantage of VB and the priority function to coordinate the three targets which are global subcarriers allocation, local power, and bits allocation. Simulation results illustrate that the algorithm may save more resources under the premise of ensuring fairness among users, and significantly increases system capacity.
