  • Abstract
    Aiming at the problem of power transmission capacity constraints in large-scale new energy send-side grid, a possible solution of integrated application of FACTS devices including SVC, SVG has been proposed, which can enhance stability of sending end grid and improve sent ability of new energy. Hexi Power Grid in Gansu province is a typical send-side grid containing 10 million kilowatt wind and solar power, research is carry out on the selection of FACTS devices type, capacity, installation site and control strategy in 1 Hexi Power Grid, The role of FACTS devices on improving large-scale new energy sent out capacity is validated through simulation.
