One Ocean - One Educational Community

It is of the utmost importance for teachers worldwide to know and understand the importance of our ocean - that our planet has one ocean shared by the world community. Using the Internet and sites such as the College of Exploration, teachers without an oceanographic background have the opportunity to learn about the role the ocean plays in everybody´s lives regardless of where they live on the planet. Once teachers have this background knowledge, they can make a difference by passing this wisdom on to their students
