Abstract :
It has been scientifically proven that restoration of native forest with native trees is possible. The success of recreation of green environments has also been shown in Japan and in a project in Bintulu, Sarawak. From 1991 the authors have tried to rehabilitate the lowland tropical rainforest in Brazil and Nothofagus forest in Chile. The concept of “native trees for native land”, which is based on the existing biological field studies, must be strongly promoted on a global scale
