Abstract :
We analyze the performance of reduced-rank linear and decision-feedback equalization. The filters are optimized within a Krylov subspace, and are motivated by the multi-stage Wiener filter. For a fixed channel, we evaluate the asymptotic performance for infinite-length filters. Multi-user and multi-antenna systems are considered.
