Abstract
The optimal placement and power level of the different types of generation units is a non-convex optimization problem. The technology modeling of renewable energy distribute generation of wind and photovoltaic were introduced, and a heuristic method for the optimal placement and monitoring of renewable energy distributed generators at the sub-transmission and distribution levels of the electric power network was proposed in the paper. A test system with DGs is used to prove the validity of the proposed method.
