Abstract :
A digital signal processor (DSP) for a beam space constant modulus algorithm (BSCMA) adaptive array antenna has been implemented using 10 field programmable gate arrays. The DSP provides multibeam synthesis, beam selection, vector rotation, and CMA adaptive processing for a BSCMA array antenna that has 16 element antennas. The DSP has 16 processors, corresponding to 16 multibeams, and 2 processors for vector rotation and CMA calculations.
