  • Abstract
    Elastic colloid is a kind of fluid which compression ratio is large under high pressure. It can reduce complexity and volume to apply the elastic in recoil mechanism. The article designed the physical model of recoil mechanism based on elastic gel, made finite element mesh for the model, and build the mathematical model for calculating the fluid movement, conducted a numerical simulation for the flow field inside the recoil mechanism with Fluent software. Simulation reproduced the dynamic process of change of pressure and velocity flow field inside the mechanism, but also provided a reliable basis for design of the recoil mechanism based on elastic colloid.
