Abstract :
In this report, we demonstrate, for the first time to our knowledge, a compact all-solid-state passively Q-switched laser with three Stokes generation. The passive Q-switch operation of the longitudinal pumped Nd:YAG laser was obtained by using Cr:YAG saturated absorber. The intracavity Raman conversion scheme was modified by introduction of the additional selective mirror, providing a separate cavity for Raman generation and transmitting laser radiation at 1.064 μm wavelength. The barium nitrate and lead tungstate crystals were used as Raman media.
