Abstract :
Traditional live overhead line construction may cause wear and tear to wires and insulated components of operating cars, which not only causes the decline of live working vehicle safety, is but also detrimental to the operational life of the wires. Based on shortcomings in the current construction, a new insulated roll bar is developed to convert sliding friction between the wire and operating car insulation parts into rolling friction, which reduces the wire and insulation wear and tear effectively, thereby increases the operating safety and enhances the work efficiency.
