Abstract :
This paper proposes a three voltage level topology and optimal control algorithm of Distribution intelligent Universal Transformer (IUT). Some simulation has been carried out with PSCAD/EMTDC software and the results have verified the effectiveness and stability of the designed IUT. The proposed IUT is simple and practical, and can improve the automation level of distribution networks by increasing the control means of distribution networks.
