Abstract :
A group code is an ideal in a suitable group algebra. Cyclic codes, Reed-Muller codes, the binary extended Golay code and many other remarkable codes are group codes. In this paper we answer the following question: Under what conditions do exist self-dual group codes over Galois rings?.
