Abstract :
This paper describes a user interface developed to input by moving a terminal device. First, the concept of the portable viewer with a magnifying glass-like operation already proposed and the remaining problems are described. Next, a new method of detecting the device movement using optical flow is proposed. Then, a prototype built with an embedded 32-bit MPU to verify the proposed method is outlined. The results showed that the basic functions necessary for the UI operation of the image viewer were implemented in the proposed system.
