Abstract :
When objects are measured in liquid, image distortion is caused by the refraction of the light on the interface between the air and the liquid, and the distorted image brings errors in the triangulation for the range measurement. In this paper, correction models have been developed to compensate the distortion of underwater laser scanning imaging system in two types of waterproof house. One is a plane waterproof interface and the other is a domed house. A calibration method to complete the correction was presented for the radius R of the dome and the excursion caused by installation.
