  • Abstract
    Here we show that this delayed ultrafast birefringence can be exploited to obtain a modulation on the polarization state of a pulse propagating in the aligned medium. Moreover, we observe that this polarization shaping can be effectively employed in the control of high order harmonic generation (HHG).
