Abstract :
An approach for constructing a real-time terrain scene simulation environment based on a client/server network is presented in this paper. Both the system model and the corresponding dynamic data partition and schedule strategy are discussed. Specific analysis of the 1+8+16 strategy is also given. With this method, the real-time scene navigation can be achieved with virtual realism. Its success during the development of the multi-weapon aerial defense system (MWADS) proves its efficiency. Our idea can also be popularized to HPC.
