Abstract
The stimulus of audio signals are conveyed to human via a three stages process; perception→recognition→susceptibility. It shows we need a methodology to optimize human perceptual factors, not just easily measured criteria like power and timing. In this paper, we propose a method for reconfigurable multimedia equipment development using inverse problem. The method consists of two means. One is an inverse problem method for stimulus on three levels for the identification of an unknown circuit and the optimization of human sensibilities with a reconfigurable architecture. The other is four steps environment for the systematic design and development from the conceptual stage through to the production. Two expedients are interconnected and efficiently linked, so that the development cycle can be shortened and the desired characteristics for human sensibilities are satisfied effectively. This proposal was applied to the development of a television receiver set and audio circuitry, and its effectiveness was confirmed
