Abstract :
This work makes a point about the optical properties which can be calculated for YCOB and GdCOB in the case of type I SHG @ 1064 nm. For this purpose, all the critical phase matching configurations were considered, in and out of principal planes. As main competitors of LBO (LiB3O5), the SHG conversion efficiencies of RECOB crystals are compared to LBO.
