Abstract
A method that can be used to do shallow water target localization in real time is proposed. Firstly, this method estimates the waveguide invariant parameter in real time, and then analyzes the interference patterns of the signals received by the towed line array to do targets ranging. No guide source and special environment survey operations are needed. Theoretical and numerical simulation results show that this method can be used to range far field target in real time and have an excellent performance.
