Abstract
This report gives results based on a novel, automated process for identifying littoral targets in real time. The results include a preliminary analysis of a sonar image dataset that was kindly provided by the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Panama City, Florida, which in turn was funded by the Office of Naval Research. The dataset included several hundred images that contained zero to three littoral targets per image.
