  • Abstract
We have developed a system for achieving automatic, stable and accurate tracking of each person among those walking around an observed space. This was achieved by integrating the operations of an omni-directional camera providing a 360-degree view and PTZ cameras whose orientation of the visual axis and the scale of zooming magnification are controlled by a host computer. The stability of the tracking performance was investigated by experiments.
