Abstract :
Motivated by a decentralized turbine-governor control design for the damping of low-frequency, inter-area oscillations in electric power systems, we consider a robust state-feedback control problem subject to saturation nonlinearity in state variables. By using the quadratic stabilization and backstepping, we propose a locally stabilizing control design.
