Abstract :
Most of the traditional characteristics of travel are for urban residents, this paper is based on the theory of disaggregate discrete choice and its modeling method. Combined with the rural population trip survey data of five cities´ in northern Jiangsu Province, the influence factors of rural population travel frequency are analyzed, three travel frequency (0 time, 1 time and more than 2 times) are chosen as alternatives, a MNL model of rural population travel frequency is constructed. The result shows that the construction of MNL model is reasonable; it can reflect the travel characteristics of rural population and can provide decision making basis for the analysis of travel rules and passenger transport planning of rural population.
