Abstract :
Supply chain (SC) modes are decided by the core enterprise (CE) of the supply chain (SCCE). And once they are defined, they will have influence on the selection for the methods of production (MP), which will affect the harmonious operation of logistics flow, order fulfillment, customer service and lead time in SC, and will even cut down and do harm to the flexibility and agility of the entire SC. So it´s very necessary to study the matching between the SC modes and the MP. Therefore it should take corresponding measurements to meet the requirements of the SCCE. In this paper, the typical MP and the modes of SC are described, and the choice-positioning matrix is given. Based on assumption conditions and cost-oriented, the MP are analyzed and determined according to the matrix, and the modes of the SC are matched to meet requirements of the SCCE. The cost structure of the SC is analyzed, and the model of SC operation total cost with a different mode is created. And this paper analyzes the cost combined with unique combinations. Finally the ultimate cost-oriented choice is given. The results show that the increase in agility and flexibility of the SC will lead to the MP changed.
