Abstract :
This work explains a new method of fast estimation of discrete Karhunen-Loeve transformation (KLT) matrix using wavelets. In This work discrete Karhunen-Loeve transformation and discrete wavelets transformation (DWT) is discussed. The new algorithm of computing KLT matrix using wavelets is proposed. The author presents the numerical results arrived at using new algorithm. In the conclusion, the trial has undertaken to estimate errors of computing KLT matrix.
