Abstract
The abrupt change in environment refers to the condition or state in which natural disaster, war and financial crisis etc. occur suddenly and unexpectedly. The abrupt change in environment can suddenly interrupt stability of supply chain, and bring the risk to supply chain. The elasticity of supply chain based on abrupt change in demand and price is studied in this paper. The model provided in this paper can be used for firms to recover rapidly the supply chain system to original or the ideal state shortly after the risk comes out.
