Abstract :
In the design time of a hierarchical telecommunication system which contains ring structure on the backbone raises the necessity to solve a traveling salesman problem. This work has offered the modified elastic net method for solving the problem of backbone topology synthesis. This method allows to find the shortest path for network backbone which takes into consideration, internodes data traffic. In this article, the modified elastic net method usage condition for solving a given problem experimentally and making a comparison of a given method performance with another similar method is presented.
