Abstract :
A sensitivity analysis (SA) of control and optimization functions of high-performance computing systems (HPCS) in engineering is introduced in this work. The SA shows the sensitivity of system parameters in order to define a structured way for performance prediction and control of HPCS. The SA is applied to a fibre distributed data interface (FDDI) factory communication system. The application helps the system engineers to get a clear idea of how to use SA in order to model, analyze, optimize, control, select, and compare high-performance computing and communication systems
