Abstract :
In order to accelerate the use of the information technology in the construction engineering field.,it puts forward the design method of the engineering information classification coding according to the international and the national norms. This method classifies some managements of the construction engineering field into ten major sorts. And each sort is classified into several mini kinds and encoded in ten-letter information codes and put into the database. The information can be processed by the computer so as to realize the computer information management. Through an analysis of the examples,it proves that this method is very available. It provides a theoretical reference to the development of information system in the construction engineering field.
