Abstract :
Recently, most the state of the art heuristics utilize landmarks to estimate the path from current state to the goal. In this paper, we summarize many types of landmarks, the techniques for finding ordered landmarks, the approaches to exploit landmarks, analysis their differences, advantages and disadvantages, and discuss the future research with landmarks, and the trends of planning with landmarks.
