Abstract
Technology has caused enormous damage on human´s living environment while benefiting human beings. Thus it is necessary to expand the scope of environmental impact assessment (EIA) to technology to reduce or eliminate its negative impacts on the environment. The uncertainty of technology´s environmental impact makes it difficult to conduct environmental impact assessment. The system of technology´s EIA consists of initial assessment, in-depth assessment and re-assessment. EIA methods include comparative assessment method of alternative technologies, technology´s green factor classification assessment method and life cycle assessment method.
