Abstract
A conceptual framework for modelling an organisational information system (OIS) which is capable of restructuring its information processing machine in response to the varying environment uncertainty pattern (EUP) is presented. The proposed framework is based on the concept of entropy that is heuristically generalized from a point theoretic to a fuzzy set theoretic framework. A multilayer neural network of Boltzmann type is also suggested to model the self organizing behavior of OIS
