Abstract :
As a global rise of new model of software service, SaaS (Software as a Service) is becoming a new direction of software industry in the next decade. SaaS eliminates the demand for enterprises to purchase, construct, and maintain the infrastructure and software. They can pay only a little money to rent applications from SaaS vendors. However, it has brought new challenges for the techniques and methods of software development, including customization, security and scalability. This paper proposes a flexible business logic customization framework for SaaS applications, using domain engineering based business rule template approach. Both of the usability and performance are taken into account. Finally an example has been conducted to show the practicability of the framework.
