  • Abstract
Simultaneous logic and its inverse operation in a single circuit is very important and effective research topics in optical computing recently. Many designes have been proposed by many authors in different approach. Among them micro-ring resonator based `directed logic´ circuit is attractive, because it can be easily fabricated in chip level. But most of the proposed logic circuits are based on electrical pumping. To over come the optical-electrical bottleneck here we have used optical pumping rather than electrical. In this literature we proposed two cascaded micro-ring resonator based all optical circuit capable of carrying out simultaneous XOR and XNOR operations. Simulation results confirming described method is also reported. The proposed all-optical logic circuit can be easily extended to n-bit XOR/XNOR circuit which is also shown in this manuscript.
