Abstract :
The leaf surface measuring apparatus is used to quickly measure the area of live leaf of plant. Though the LSM apparatus has been very much promoted for its technical factors, it has many deficiencies for its appearance and form. Those deficiencies limit its effective applications and incur many complaints from the users. The interface design is basically based on ergonomics research of LSM apparatus. First the operation of the LSM apparatus is carefully analyzed, the weight of the LSM apparatus is found to be the main problem; Second the characteristics of hand are researched; Third the similar apparatus is compared. Through the ergonomic research, new LSM apparatus is redesigned.
