Abstract :
Network application cooperation fair congestion control (NACF) method is proposed for Internet congestion control. The basic idea of NACF is the coordination between network and application. The core mechanisms are hierarchical rate coding and dropping algorithm in network and the flow control by analyzing the acknowledged packets with rate code in application. the basic algorithm is introduced and the framed structure and functional model of the algorithm is described. Then, simulation analysis is made on the mechanism´s performance and achieves satisfying result in realization of fairness and congestion control.
