Abstract

Due to the rapid development of the information & communication technology and the platform technology, various types of converged service are appeared. The converged service platform technology comes into the spotlight because it enables that the converged service is more easily implemented and also efficiently deployed. This paper discusses requirements and consideration for billing management that is suitable for operating and hosting the converged service platform, and presents a new billing model and its architecture for hosting service of the converged service platform. We also, design architecture for Billing Model based on NGOSS lifecycle. We check the usefulness of proposed billing model under IPTV scenarios.
