Abstract :
Modulated vector network analyzer (MVNA™) technology represents an evolution of traditional vector network analyzer (VNA) technology. By the use of broadband port circuitry, parallel measurement architecture and powerful signal processors, it has been possible to remove the Achilles heel of traditional network analyzer technology - the frequency sweep. The use of broadband MVNA technology instead of the traditional narrowband VNA technology in RF ATE systems allows more economical as well as more realistic test of highly integrated components for mobile communication systems.
