Abstract
This paper studies the economic model of mobile SaaS (software as a service) servers and the effect of various strategies used by them in a semi-cooperative environment. First, we discuss various pricing mechanism that may be adopted by selfish yet cooperative servers. Then, we propose and analyze some strategies that may be used by servers in selecting their service(s) over time. Finally, we test our model through a simulation. Our study is the preliminary step toward the development of a better pricing mechanism among selfish servers in SaaS markets.
